1.Using Linkstore

These terms cover your use of Linkstore, the website and the services on it. By browsing the store, creating an account or listing an app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Linkstore.

You need to be at least 13 years old to create an account, or older if your country requires it. If you use Linkstore for a company, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it.

2.Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to it.

Your username, name, photo and bio are public on your profile and next to anything you post. Don't pick a name that pretends to be someone else.

3.Listing an app

When you submit an app, you confirm that:

  • you made it, or you're allowed to represent the people who did;
  • the name, description, price and images are accurate;
  • you have the rights to the logo, screenshots and text you upload;
  • the app follows our listing guidelines and the law.

A person reviews every submission. We can approve, ask for changes, decline, or later take down a listing that no longer meets the guidelines, for now or for good. When we decline or take something down, we tell you why.

Listing is free. Approved apps appear in Releases on the day they're approved, ordered by approval time. Nobody, including you, can pay to change that order.

4.Content you share

You keep ownership of what you post: listings, images, reviews and profile details. You give Linkstore a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, show, resize and share that content so we can run and promote the store. This includes showing your app in lists, search results, the newsletter and on social media.

The license ends when you delete the content, except where it was already shared (for example in a sent newsletter) or where we need to keep it for legal reasons.

5.Ratings and reviews

Reviews should come from your own experience with the app. One review per person per app. Makers can't review their own apps, and nobody may offer or accept anything in exchange for a rating.

We remove reviews that are spam, abusive, off topic, or written by someone connected to the app. Removing a review also removes its rating from the app's average.

6.What's not allowed

Don't use Linkstore to:

  • list malware, scams, phishing pages or anything illegal;
  • harass people, or post hateful or sexual content involving minors;
  • manipulate ratings, saves or open counts, with accounts or with scripts;
  • scrape the store at a volume that slows it down for others;
  • try to break into accounts, our systems, or other people's data.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and remove their content.

8.Apps in the store aren't ours

The apps listed on Linkstore are made and run by other people and companies. Pressing Open takes you to their site, under their own terms and privacy policy. We don't own, run or control those apps, and we aren't responsible for their content, what they do, or what happens when you use them.

A listing, a rating, a boost or a sponsor spot is not an endorsement. We don't support or approve of any app being used for anything illegal, and makers are responsible for making sure their apps follow the law.

A person reviews every app before it's listed, but people miss things, and apps change after we look at them. We can't promise that a listed app is safe, legal, accurate or still works. Use your own judgment, and if something looks wrong, report it.

9.Reporting apps and reviews

Anyone signed in can report an app or a review with the Report button on its page. Tell us what's wrong, such as a broken app, a misleading listing, malware, illegal content or copied work. A person reads every report. We don't tell the maker who reported them.

We may take an app down for now while we look into it, ask the maker to fix something, or remove it for good. Please don't send reports you know are false. Doing so can get your account closed.

10.Copyright and takedowns

We respect intellectual property. If a listed app, its listing or a review uses your copyrighted work or trademark without permission, tell us and we'll take it down once we receive a valid notice. Email hi@linkstore.io with:

  • the work or trademark you own, and proof it's yours;
  • the Linkstore page where it appears;
  • your name, address, email and phone number;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't allowed by you, your agent or the law;
  • a statement that your notice is accurate and that you own the rights or may act for the owner;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

We pass the notice on to the maker. If they believe it's a mistake, they can reply with a counter notice explaining why, and we may restore the listing unless the person who complained tells us they've taken legal action. We close the accounts of makers who infringe again and again.

A takedown can be temporary, where the listing is hidden and can come back once the issue is resolved, or permanent, where the listing and its reviews are deleted. We tell the maker which one and why.

11.Disclaimers and liability

Linkstore is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and accurate but can't promise it will always be available, error free, or that every listing is correct.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss or harm caused by apps listed in the store, their content, or your use of them. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

12.Closing your account

You can stop using Linkstore at any time. To delete your account and your listings, email us and we'll handle it. We may close accounts that break these terms, and we'll tell you when we do, unless that would be unsafe or unlawful.

13.Changes to these terms

We'll update these terms as Linkstore grows. When a change matters, we'll say so on the site or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
